1914 Lea-Francis

You are looking at an extremely rare fully loaded 1914 Lea Francis English made bike with the original 5hp MAG engine.  This is a true survivor vehicle with all original accessories and paint. Bike runs and drives as well. These bikes were rare to begin with as only about 1500 were ever made in the 2 year run, but to have the matching sidecar and all the accessories is truly unheard of. This bike was literally in the History books as the one pictured in the Classic British Bikes almanac is THIS very one, as it is the finest example of an all original Lea Francis bike. Thick binder filled with all the previous build sheets and ownership history and provenance come with it.

This bike was used in long distance racing and even has a spare fuel tank built into the sidecar. All gas lanterns are still in perfect shape. To find any of the accessories is a feat in itself. But to find an entire bike with side car is extremely rare. This has been in a large private collection for years.
